Press Release – Hedin Bil now operates Skadecenter i Borås

On the 1st of November, Hedin Bil started to operate Skadecenter i Borås. Until the 31st of December, the operations will continue as before only to become Borås most modern damage center on January 1st.

In October, I.A. Hedin Bil AB acquired, through its subsidiary Hedin Göteborg Bil AB, the company Skadecenter i Borås AB. Thanks to a strong and positive growth during the past years there was a need to increase the number of service places in Hedin Bils damage center. Through this acquisition, the capacity in the current location will move to the new address, freeing up space to fill up with more mechanics.
­– We will hire more mechanics to our current facility thanks to this change and we have a recruitment process ongoing, says Daniel Kjellberg, manager Hedin Bil in Borås.

At the current Hedin Bil-dealership in Borås there will be no obvious changes for customers, except for when a customer needs to visit the damage center. From 1st of January, all these types of repairs will be taken care of in the new facility.

­– We have until the year-end to create the best possible prerequisites for the new damage center to operate as smoothly as possible. Through this acquisition, we will increase the service level for our customers in Borås, which is a very important step in our expansion, says Daniel.

Skadecenter i Borås AB was founded in 1984 by Wåge Sörman. The work is carried out in a property owned by the company. During 2017, Skadecenter I Borås had a turnover of 86 MSEK and had 14 employees.

– The company will continue to strive and grow through the new owners, and ot feels very good. The new Hedin Bil Damage Center in Borås will be a state of the art damage center, said founder Wåge Sörman on the 1st of October.
